Liam Payne Drops Debut EP “First Time”: Stream All 4 Songs Now!
Liam Payne’s debut EP “First Time” has arrived. This four-song project is what the British singer announced he was going to release to calm down the anger of fans for the indefinite delay of his full-length debut album. Mr. Payne said he had to delay the release of his debut solo LP because he had to work on new songs as the ones he had already recorded didn't make sense/didn't connect with him anymore. It all points out those songs were inspired by Liam's relationship with Cheryl, whom he is not with anymore (surely he would have felt awkward releasing those songs anyway).
The four songs on the EP are: “First Time”, “Home with You”, “Depend on It” and “Slow”.
The official first single of the EP is the title track, a collaboration with rapper French Montana. And by the way, doesn’t the vibe of the song remind you a lot to “I Like It” by Cardi b and “Havana” by Camila Cabello? The beat in the intro was very "familiar". Clearly Liam wants a new hit and he thinks taking a lot of "inspiration" from those songs is the key to a quick chart success?
