Leona Lewis Slays “Bridge Over Troubled Water” at 2018 National Memorial Day Concert: Watch
Leona Lewis took us to church and back to her 'X Factor' days with her performance of "Bridge Over Troubled Water" from the West Lawn of the U.S. Capitol for the 2018 National Memorial Day Concert that aired last night on PBS.
The British singer performed this same timeless hit during the 'X Factor UK' season all the way back in 2006. Back then she slayed the Simon & Garfunkel song and last night she repeated the slayage. Was it at the same level? Well, I do prefer the 'X Factor UK' performance a little better but last night's performance was epic as well. Come on, those vocals, that emotion!!!! And to nail "Bridge Over Troubled Water" like she did yesterday at SUCH important event and at SUCH main location? Wowza!
