Lee DeWyze & Stefano Lagone Perform On 'American Idol', Drake Surprises Candice Glover
A lot of things happened on American Idol's results show on April 25. First, none of the four remaining, female contestants were eliminated. Since the judges hadn't used their 'save' power, show execs decided there'll be an extra week of 'Idol' this season. There was a bottom two though, composed of Amber and Candice Glover. So whether they like it or not, their number is (about to be) up. Second, 'Idol' alumni Lee DeWyze and Stefano Langano returned to the show last night to perform their latest single. Season 9 winner Lee debuted live his new song, the rock/folk "Silver Lining", while Season 10 seventh-placed finalist Stefano performed his new romantic single "Yes to Love". Both were solid performances, but it doesn't matter 'cause we know both songs will flop. Sad, but true.
There was a third 'highlight moment' on Idol on Thursday night. Candice Glover performed this week a strong cover of Drake's "Find Your Love", and last night she was shocked when she saw the Young Money rapper walk on stage to tell her in person how proud he was of her performance.
