Lauren Alaina Got The Wrong Guy For Her “Next Boyfriend” Music Video: Watch
Lauren Alaina isn’t afraid to take her time.
The country singer premiered today (January 12th) on VEVO the music video for her latest single “Next Boyfriend”, a song the ‘American Idol’ Season 10 runner-up released back in September 2015! So this makes four long months the total amount of time Lauren’s poor fans had to wait to check out the music video. A bit too much, huh? What happened? Did 19 Recordings, Lauren’s label, think it was better to push back the promotion “Next Boyfriend” for a reason yet to be revealed? We want the answers!
Directed by TK McKamy, the not-very-country-music-looking music video was filmed at a parking building where a party was held. There were skateboarders doing their thing, people busting a few moves, and of course Lauren Alain, who obviously was the person whom all eyes went to. She got to do two outfit changes throughout the video, one wearing a t-shirt and jeans, and then another one looking sexy in a short black dress, and her role was that of a flirtatious woman. She spotted a guy she liked from the party-goers and she immediately knew he was going to be her “Next Boyfriend”. So they flirted, they danced, and did the kiss? Find out below!
PS: Lauren is one pretty girl. Why did she lay eyes on that ugly guy? She can do so much better! Such bad casting choice for the main guy. Oh, and by the way, “Next Boyfriend” is lifted from Lauren Alaina’s forthcoming second studio album that she will release later in 2016.
