Lana del Rey's New Song "Venice Bitch" Is 10 GLORIOUS MINUTES LONG: Listen Now!
Lana del Rey has released her new song “Venice Bitch” today.
This is the second song we get to hear from her forthcoming new studio album after “Mariners Apartment Complex” a few days ago.
Today in an interview with Zane Lowe, Lana revealed her upcoming LP would be titled “Norman Fucking Rockwell” and that it’d be released “early next year”. Lana paid a visit to Zane this morning to premiere “Venice Bitch” on his Beats 1 show on Tuesday morning and give him an exclusive interview sharing an update of her next project.
“Venice Bitch” is a 10-minute tranquil song and Lana had to say this about it:
"Venice Bitch" is almost 10 minutes long and Lowe described it as a "two-sided song." Del Rey shared the experience of playing it for her managers: "I played it for my managers and I was like, yeah I think this is the single I want to put out. And they were like it's 10 minutes long. Are you kidding me? It's called “Venice Bitch”. Like why do you do this to us? Can you make a three minute normal pop song?I was like well, end of summer, some people just wanna drive around for 10 minutes get lost in some electric guitar. "
Lana uploaded an official music video for the song on YouTube today too. The music video is basically a very long car ride (precisely the feeling she described in the statement above).
