Lady Gaga Wins “Best Original Song” For “Shallow” at 2019 Golden Globes But Is ROBBED Of More Trophies… See Her Acceptance Speech, Meet Freddie & More HERE!
Lady Gaga won the second Golden Globe of her career at the 2019 Golden Globes ceremony held last night, December 6th, at The Beverly Hilton hotel in Los Angeles. She won her second Golden Globe (first was for 'American Horror Story: Hotel' in 2016) by beating her competition in the "Best Original Song" category and winning with "Shallow". Taylor Swift was the person in charge of giving Gaga her new shiny trophy.
During the acceptance speech moment, Mark Ronson started and then it was Lady Gaga's turn. I didn't like the majority of the time of the speech belonged to Mark but whatever. Gaga's speech was heartfelt, she looked so emotional, and I loved the detail of publicly thanking and sending love to Bradley Cooper.
Our Gaga was DRESSED TO WIN last night but unfortunately the Golden Globes board members only gave her this one award. She was expected to walk on stage to receive the "Best Actress - Drama" award but Glenn Close stole that and then for "Best Movie - Drama" but "Bohemian Rhapsody" stole that. WTF!? I COULD understand the Glenn Close upset but "Bohemian Rhapsody" really? What are these? The MTV Movie Awards? Jesus.
I swear if there's another upset at the Oscars... Someone will be in DANGER, lol.

I am so grateful to Bradley for this opportunity, and for singing this beautiful song with me. Me, @iammarkronson, @antmundo and @wyattish are floored by this win. Just a couple of kids that love making music, and we got to do it for this breathtaking film. We love our fans so much! Thank you for believing in us. And thank you to the Hollywood Foreign Press Association! #AStarIsBorn
