Kiesza - "Sound of a Woman" [Music Video Premiere!]
Now this is what I call a simple but powerful music video. Well done, Kiesza!
The super talented Canadian singer premiered on Friday (April 10) the music video for “Sound of a Woman”, the latest single and title track from Kiesza’s last year-released debut album (that included the smash hit “Hideaway”). The deep-house mid-tempo hear Ms. Kiesza reflecting on ‘crying’ and ‘women’s way of expression’. “Sound of a Woman” is one amazingly-written song. Certainly an anthem for all women out there and a very relatable song, right?
As for the Blayre Ellestad, Jesse Hill and Ljuba Castot-directed “Sound of a Woman” music video, it shows Kiesza in black and white scenes just looking at the camera and doing intense poses and serving stunning face as she moves around the space and duplication/silhouette visual effects are applied. Meanwhile, other scenes see Kiesza belting out “Sound of a Woman” as she jogs throughout a pitch-dark place.
