Kid Ink Lights Up 'Joint' In "Blunted" Music Video
Kid Ink keeps it low-budget simple in his “Blunted” music video. The L.A rapper will put his fourth album “Full Speed” out on February 3rd, 2015 via RCA Records and the OG track “Blunted” is the official second single off it – after the Tinashe and Usher-assisted "Body Language" which surprisingly didn't perform as expected only peaking at #78 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at #21 on the US Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs Chart. I guess the ‘pop’ edge of "Body Language" wasn’t of Kid Ink’s fans’ liking. So releasing a full hip-hop track as the follow-up single seems like the correct move.
“Blunted” music video review
Where did the money for budget go? RCA has a lot of cash, so why aren’t they giving it to Kid Ink? I'm a bit surprised.
The super simple MV for “Blunted” sees rapper Kid Ink at a dark room smoking a marijuana joint and doing tricks with the smoke as the filming camera circulates around him. That's it? The song is "dope" but the video is not.
