Karmin Debut "I Want It All" on TV on "Live with Kelly and Michael": Watch Now!
Pop duo Karmin performed their new single "I Want It All" for the first time on US television on "Live with Kelly and Michael" on Thursday (Feb. 6) morning. The upbeat "I Want It All" (co-written by Ester Dean - who's penned many hits for Rihanna in the past) serves as the lead single from Karmin's forthcoming full-length debut album "Pulses", due in stores - after numerous delays - on March 25th via Epic Records.
"I Want It All" sees Karmin testing a new sound, more organic and big band-vibed, and one huge shocker...Amy doesn't rap! The single was officially released on iTunes on January 28th, 2014 and sent to US radios around the same time. Will it become a smash hit? It sounds like it! Epic better give Karmin a good promotion schedule so they can actually make "I Want It All" happen on the charts.
Although we still have to wait for the "I Want It All" music video to come out, Karmin have begun promoting the song on TV. Their first stop was ABC's "Live with Kelly and Michael" today. The performance was solid. Amy's vocals were right on point. Nick's "performance" was somewhat awkward, though. From the outfit he chose, to the unnecessary "ta ra ta, ta ra ta" adlib-ing, and the trumpet bits...it was all a little bit weird. I guess on some level it was nice to see some of the "spotlight" falling on him and not all on Amy for a change. The performance was really short too. Hope they find a way to extend it next time.
