Karmin - 'Broken Hearted' (Music Video!)
Check out the world premiere of pop duo Karmin's music video for "Broken Hearted", the official second single from their forthcoming debut album "Hello", arriving in stores next April 24th via Epic Records - I've been completely addicted to this uber-catchy pop tune ever since it premiered earlier this year. "Brokenhearted" was produced by Benny Blanco ("Tik Tok", "Dynamite", "California Gurls") and written by the magic pen of Claude Kelly, so in case you haven't heard this song yet, you can get an idea of how hot it must sound! BTW, I've always said it gives my Katy Perry's 'Last Friday Night' teas. There's something about the melody! Because although Karmin's new single is called "Brokenhearted", and the lyrics talk about 'heartbreak', this ain't a ballad, but strangely a feel-good uptempo!.
Talking about the Marc Klasfeld-directed visual, it shows real-life couple Karmin putting their relationship on screen. The video revolves around a previous night party where Amy, and Nick 'got extra friendly', obviously flirting and getting along. For Amy it was love at first sight. However, the following day, it's band rehersals, and Amy recalls how Nick never called her back, and tension builds in the room. The video ends with a shocking revelation.
