Jessie J Delivers Standing Ovation-Worthy Performance of "Queen" on "James Corden": Watch
Jessie J delivered a superb performance of her song "Queen" earlier this week on "The Late Late Show with James Corden" on CBS. It was actually more than superb; it was career-defining. Is it me or do I sense Jessie J's showmanship has improved ever since her journey on China's "Singer" show? I feel like she's more confident now.
Her label is pushing "Queen" hard in the U.S in view of these latest TV performances. First at the VH1 special and now on "James Corden". And I'm so happy. I literally could watch performances of "Queen" non-stop without getting bored. I just adore this song and the message behind. And each Jessie J performance of it gives me goosebumps and sometimes even makes my eyes get watery.
This "James Corden" performance for instance was stunning. The crowd was so into it (many spontaneous applauding moments), Jessie J's live vocals were beyond perfection, and the ensemble of "queens" on stage supporting the British singer with their energy was a very nice addition to the show. It made the song feel stronger.
