Janelle Monáe's New Song 'Pynk' Is A Celebration Of 'Pussy Power': Premiere
Janelle Monáe just released a new song from her forthcoming "Dirty Computer" album (in stores April 27). The one she premiered today first on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show, and the released on social platform and whose music video she then premiered on YouTube is called "Pynk". The song features backing vocals and was produced by Canada's very own Grimes.
Speaking of the concept of the song, Janelle said:
"PYNK is a brash celebration of creation. self love. sexuality. and pussy power! PYNK is the color that unites us all, for pink is the color found in the deepest and darkest nooks and crannies of humans everywhere... PYNK is where the future is born...."
