Jamie Lynn Spears - "How Could I Want More" (Music Video)
Britney, who? Jamie Lynn Spears is completely stealing the show and outselling her big, pop star sister with her debut single, the country ballad "How Could I Want More". Upon release last Monday, the heartfelt song has been received rather positevely on iTunes; to the point, "How Could I Want More" has had no problems breaking the Top 40 and placing itself higher than old sister Britney's "Work Bitch" flop, and the underwhelming ballad "Perfume", both singles from Brit Brit's new album "Britney Jean".
Her days as leading Zoey 101 star may be over, and she's now a 22-year-old raising a 6-year-old daughter, but Jamie Lynn Spears wants to see that dream of having a music career come to being. That's why she's founded her own label, released "How Could I Want More" this week (catching everyone by surprise). The release of her country ballad single coincided in time with the stream of "Britney Jean" on iTunes where Jamie Lynn collaborates with sister Britney on the song "Chillin' With You". All this is added exposure/free promotion for Jamie. And seeing the hype going, she's waited no time to premiere the music video "How Could I Want More" too. Watch above!
This series of fortunate events (awesome iTunes reception + "Chillin' With You" + video premiere) will undoubtely translate into good and profitable news for the younger Spears sister. As for the "How Could I Want More" visual, it's basically an "intimate performance" one. It's cheap indeed, but in some way, somehow, it goes nicely with the song vibe.
