Jamie Lynn Spears Announces Debut EP 'The Journey' + Releases Official Artwork!
We were super excited when Jamie Lynn Spears released her debut single 'How Could I Want More' last year, instantly becoming one of our favorite country songs of 2013. And we are now feeling thrilled having received the news that Britney's little sister is releasing her very first EP! Y'all going to have to buy 'The Journey' when it comes out May 27th.

As you see in the tracklist above, the EP is made of five songs (five country gems!) The EP is executive produced by Corey Crowder, and features a handful of country music's best songwriters including Liz Rose (Taylor Swift, Tim McGraw, Eli Young Band), Chris Tompkins (Florida Georgia Line, Martina McBride, Carrie Underwood), Tyler Hayes (Gloriana), Rivers Rutherford (Kenny Chesney, Faith Hill, Brad Paisley) and Lisa Carver (Reba McEntire, Sugarland). Hello? Jamie booked the best!
In the past months, Jamie Lynn has performed all five songs at gigs across the US. Just make a quick visit to YouTube for the videos. They'll be easy to find!
We found them and we are loving all five. But we do have a special love for 'Shotgun Wedding' and 'Big Bad World'. Still, looking forward the hear the studio versions of all four remaining tracks (as 'How Could I Want More' is checked).
Besides announcing the release date of 'The Journey' EP today, Jamie Lynn also had fun playing a little Twitter game with her fans. If they made #JLSTheJourney trend, she'd reveal the official artwork for the EP. The fans accomplished the mission in no time!
