Interscope Confirms New Ellie Goulding & Carly Rae Jepsen Singles for Early 2015
Very good news for Ellie Goulding and Carly Rae Jepsen fans just surfaced. They’re both coming out with new songs early in 2015, as confirmed by Interscope’s radio-listing site PlayIGA.com. In the case of the Canadian singer Carly, her “new song” titled “I Really Like You” will be the first single from her upcoming third studio album (it's been two years now since the super underrated album "Kiss" was released), while in British singer Ellie’s scenario, her new song called “Love Me Like You Do” will be a single released from the “Fifty Shades of Grey” soundtrack (the movie hits theatres on Valentine's Day 2015). I'm excited about both songs! But if I HAD to say which I am more excited for…I’d go with Carly Rae Jepsen’s new single. I just loved "Kiss" (album) so much (and of course "Call Me Maybe") that I'm honestly anticipating the return of Carly. I'm happy to see she's still signed with Interscope too! (for a long minute I thought she had been dropped after the underperformance of "Kiss" in the US).
Interscope’s PlayIGA.com also confirms "Burn" star Ellie Goulding will be joining forces with Beyoncé and The Weeknd on the “Fifty Shades of Grey” soundtrack, and that’s pretty cool for Ellie. She’s a big music star now and she certainly deserves her place in what’s going to be one of the hottest soundtracks of the next year.
