Imagine Dragons - "Shots" [Music Video Premiere!]
Is this their new single or are they turning “Smoke + Mirrors” into a visual album?
Didn’t Imagine Dragons premiere the music video for their “official” new single “Gold” like two weeks ago? The confusion is on as the alternative rock band uploaded to their VEVO account today (Feb. 12) the video for “Shots” which apparently is their newest single, although it could also be just a buzz single to promote the imminent world release of “Smoke + Mirrors” but Imagine Dragons is yet to confirm any of the options.
Anyhow, let’s not mess with our heads trying to figure out if the ‘single’ run of the amazing “Gold” is over or not, and let’ just watch the glorious MV for “Shots”.
“Shots” is super radio-friendly. I immediately got “official single” vibes when I first heard it, but I didn’t expect Imagine Dragons to give it the official single treatment this soon (should this being their new single rumor be true).
The video “inspired by the paintings of Tim Cantor” is a visually-engaging motion effort.
Dan Reynolds and the rest of the band will bring the paintings of the author to life serving museum vibes and ridiculous but fun fashion.
