Hot Tea: Christina Aguilera Calls Pink A Liar, Throws Shade at “The Voice”, Talks New Music In 2019 On ‘Watch What Happens Live’
Christina Aguilera made her first ever appearance on Andy Cohen’s “Watch What Happens Live” Bravo show this week. This occurred because the pop singer is currently promoting her upcoming Las Vegas residency that will kick off in late May. Tickets for the residency go on sale TODAY (Feb. 2).
During her appearance on “WWHL”, Christina had to answer Andy’s questions, the callers’ questions, had to play “Plead The Fifth”, and she had to choose the Drag Queen who best copied one of her most iconic looks (shocker: she didn’t pick Farrah Moan).
With respect to the juicy information Christina offered during this appearance, here’s a summary, if you don’t have time to watch all of the videos:
- It seems there will be new Christina Aguilera music this year and that its release will be aligned with the beginning of her residency.
- Christina denied she ever punched Pink at a club.
- She threw shade at “The Voice”. She said it was a good experience at the beginning but that later things happened behind the scenes (most likely decisions made by the producers) that she didn’t like one bit. She won’t be returning as a coach.
- She loves Britney Spears’ “Breathe On Me” song.
- She supports Lady Gaga’s decision to remove the R. Kelly version of “Do What U Want” from digital platforms and she said she had good memories from the time they performed the song together giving it a complete personal meaning.
