Hilary Duff Releases Club-Ready Cover Of Fleetwood Mac's "Little Lies": Listen!
Can you imagine Hilary Duff singing Britney’s “Hold It Against Me”? This is the vibe that you’re going to get once you hear her cover of Fleetwood Mac’s “Little Lies”. Hilary, at the request of TV Land, recorded a “crazy-catchy”, “hum-along-worthy” cover of the English/American rock band’s 1987 hit to use in the promos for the upcoming Season 2 of the TV series “Younger”, where Ms. Duff is the leading star.
On the cover:
"TV Land called me. And it's like when the boss is calling you, and you're like, 'What did I do now?'" Duff says with a laugh. "They were like, 'We want you to cover a song for the promos for the second season.' And I'm like, 'Oh my God. Yes, of course, I would love to.'"
Hilary’s ‘revamped’ take on “Little Lies” (that throbbing beat, OMG!) was produced by Alex and Adam Anders, the same duo responsible for the infectious covers on “Glee”. And it totally serves “Hold It Against Me” realness, don’t you think?
I totally LIVE for Hilary Duff doing DANCE music. She sounds amazing in this genre.
And, by the way, although I’m evidently loving this “Little Lies” cover, what’s with the video below only lasting 1:30 minutes? Where’s the rest of the cover? Hilary, sis, if you don’t release the entire version on iTunes SOON you will be in trouble. You can’t do this to us, your loyal fans!
Season 2 of "Younger" is set to start airing in January 2016.
