The pop diva premiered a new song titled “GTFO” (which means “Get The Fuck Out)” this Thursday morning (Sept- 13) on digital platforms. The track will appear on Mariah’s upcoming 15th studio album but it isn’t the first single. The first single will be a song called “With You” that is premiering on October 5th. “GTFO” is a just a lovely appetizer for fans to get ready for new era. The “GTFO” music video is getting released tomorrow on YouTube.
“GTFO” was produced by Nineteen85, who has worked with Drake and Jordan Manswell (Daniel Caesar), among others, it features an atmospheric beat, and of course sensationally beautiful vocals from Mariah Carey. The lyrics are about Mimi having enough of her cheating, heart-breaking lover and kicking him out of the house. “How about you get the fuck out? / Get the fuck out / How about you take your things and be on your merry way? / Fly off with a wink, bye bye, baby”, Mariah literally sings on the chorus. QUEEN!
