Gym Class Heroes Get Their 'Asses' On 'Fallon', Robin Thicke Gets Sultry On 'Today'
Gym Class Heroes delivered the first televised performance of their new single "Ass Back Home" on 'Late Night with Jimmy Fallon' on Thursday - The Benny Blanco-produced Neon Hitch collaboration is the chosen one to follow up Gym's SMASH hit "Stereo Hearts"...but will it be as succesful? That is the question! My say is it won't. Why? Well, I actually liked "Ass Back Home" a lot, I was really hooked on it when it leaked time ago, but after a few days of constant hearing, I began to get a little bored of it TBH. It's not as addictive as 'Stereo Hearts'. It just doesn't have the same 'magic'.
On the contrary, I'm still jamming the Oh Land collaboration "Life Goes On" quite some. THAT song would've been a clever second single choice! In any case, no doubt about it, "Life Goes On" will be the follow-up. As for 'Fallon' performance, it was kinda entertaining. Travie did his thing, but Neon Hitch looked a lil' lost. And she shouldn't be copying Rihanna's innocent hippy girl look.
This Friday morning (December 9th), Blue-eyed soul star Robin Thicke took the stage at NBC's 'The Today Show' to perform his latest single "Love After War", the first cut from his new album of the same name, which got in stores this week. The performance was fine, but...was Robin tipsy? lol. He seemed so to me! He got a little flirtatious with show hosts Kathie Lee Gifford and Hoda Kotb, xD.
Which performance did you like the most?
