Gwen Stefani - "Baby Don't Lie" [Music Video]
Can this woman age already!? Gwen Stefani just premiered (Tuesday, October 21) the full music video of "Baby Don't Lie" on YouTube. The synth-driven pop song is the first single from the No Doubt leader's forthcoming third solo album out “in the next few months” via Interscope Records. The single was made available on iTunes only yesterday so the video premiere has been PRETTY fast! Good strategy? Time will tell but for now watch the Sophie Muller-directed clip below!!!
"Baby Don't Lie" video review
Is this Gwen’s most colourful music video yet? No doubt…about it! Is it Gwen’s best video of her solo career? Hell no! I mean, I like the video but it looks more like a L.A.M.B fragrance commercial than a music video at times. Didn’t like the “colourful” scenes that much that much....I have to be honest. They're just too disturbing. I did like the beautiful opening and closing scenes with close-up shots of Gwen (I'm telling you! She can't age!) and the scenes where she's walking on the wet street with a few of her girlfriends. "Baby Don't Lie" is a cool song, but I still don’t think it was the wisest choice for first single, especially having heard “Spark the Fire”.
