The girl band – whom we interviewed not so long
ago – have just premiered on VEVO the official music video for their new single
‘Ugly Heart’, a radio-friendly, ukulele-tinged, and Dr. Luke-produced track. G.R.L’s
debut album is coming soon via Dr. Luke’s Kemosabe Records / RCA. ‘Ugly Heart’ was
co-written by Ester Dean.
Girls, you better watch this video fully so you know what to do, how to act, and what to wear should you get arrested by the police in a near future. After committing a crime, the give G.R.L. girls are arrested and taken into custody. At the police station, the girl band will perform a choreography on top of the policemen’s desks and will do the same at the mug shot / identification parade room. My black girl Simone will wrap up the music video in the corniest way possible. Ah! That ending was so corny. Still, pretty much flawless music video. I'm excited for these girls!
