The ex The Killers leader released it earlier today (April 27) as the newest “iTunes countdown single” from his upcoming third solo album “The Desired Effect”, which will be available in stores all around the world on May 18.
Not only did Brandon release audio of “Lonely Town” today, by the way. He also premiered the official music video for the song on VEVO, which unfortunately doesn’t feature any Brandon Flowers scene at all.
The visual in support of the vintage-y sounding, synth-rock song, sees a girl, probably from the 80s, jamming hard to Brandon’s “Lonely Town” as she hears it with her headphones on using a cassette player (do you remember those?). The blond female will lay on the diner room’s table, chill on the sofa, go the backyard, get down in the kitchen, and pretty much dance like there’s no tomorrow to “Lonely Town” throughout her entire house.
