Future & Chris Brown Release New Collaboration "PIE": Watch The Music Video!
Brand new Future here for you.
The rapper premiered a new single entitled “PIE”, featuring Chris Brown, on Sunday night. The iTunes release of the new song came along with the premiere of its music video on VEVO. There’s not confirmation as of yet about where will “PIE” land on, but there’s the possibility this is just a one-off summer single for the fans for the summer.
“PIE” is a mid-tempo urban track, produced by Detail and d.a. doman, where Pluto and Breezy objectify women: “Baby, fuck it up / It's your birthday, go ahead, put that cake on me / Diamonds and zeros, I'll be your hero, ain't no cape for me”. No surprise here. Objectification of women is a usual theme in the hip hop world. When will Future evolve from this stereotype, though? He’s a rapper with a great delivery but his lyrics are just cringey.
As far as the music video, it sees the “PIE” artists hosting a house party, which will be attended by several beautiful women. Or as these guys call them; “side pieces”.
“PIE” sounds like something urban radios will eat right up. So early congratulations to Future are in order. He’s about to score a new hit.
