Fun. - 'Some Nights' (Music Video)
I guess we have another big contender for 'Video of the Year' at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards! American indie/pop band Fun have recently world premiered the visual for "Some Nights", the latest single lifted from their sophomore studio album of the same name...Watch above! Directed by Anthony Mandler, the clip revolves around war and its tragic outcomes. Set in the 19th Century, during the American Civil War, the 'Some Nights' MV shows how fathers and songs have to abandon their lives, load up their weapons and get in the battle between the North and the South. Fun.'s frontman Nate Ruess gives 'courage' to the men as he belts out the lyrics of the song. Is this amazing or what? This has to be one of my favorite song and music video combinations in a long while! Just brilliant. Can we please give Anthony Mandler a round of applause? AMAZING work, and video treatment. Enjoy!
