UK's Foxes Dances In Gas Station In “Body Talk” Music Video: Watch!
English singer-songwriter Foxes dazzled me a couple weeks ago when her new single “Body Talk” was released, and it featured one of the most amazing pop choruses of this year so far. However, my excitement for her song – which will appear on Ms. Foxes’ forthcoming sophomore studio album due in stores later in 2015 via Sony Music – has exponentially decreased today, June 22; the day selected by Foxes to premiere the official “Body Talk” music video on VEVO.
The Virgili Jubero-directed clip is just a borefest and not even the fact Foxes looks stunning in it saves it from being her worst music video ever.
Where did the originality go? And it’s not about the money. Foxes proved with the “Let Go For Tonight” video that a huge budget is not a mandatory requirement to produce a great visual for your song. But this ‘dancing at the gas station’ concept she presents in the “Body Talk” MV is just insulting to me, and to the song! How can you give this stunning track such a disappointing visual?
Anyhow, rant over. Watch below beautiful Foxes park at a gas station, pay for her gas at the counter, dance with her female friends on her way back to the vehicle, and belt “Body Talk” from inside while having the car get an automated wash.
