For Real Now: Iggy Azalea’s New Single Features Quavo And It’s Out February 1!
Iggy Azalea kind of lied to us. She said her comeback single would drop in January but now she’s announced it will be dropping on February 1.
Iggy’s comeback single, as in the first single from her second studio album (you already know “Digital Distortion” is scrapped, right? Yeah? OK. We good), will be a collaboration with Migos rapper Quavo and rumor has it the song in question will be “Savior” – a demo of this song leaked last year (it’s supposedly one of the new songs Iggy recorded after the “Digital Distortion” boat sank). However, the title of the song hasn’t been confirmed by Iggy yet. But the rumors are strong!
The announcement of the Quavo involvement and the release date wasn’t done in an official manner but involuntarily during a press conference of Monster Inc last night. Iggy will be the face of Monster’s commercial for their new headphones on the Super Bowl. The company’s boss kind of forced Iggy to spill the tea on her new music and Iggy simply caved in. She couldn’t be rude to the person who’s paying her a big fat check. The proper announcement on her website and official social media accounts will surely happen in a few days.

And about her broken promise of the January release. She had to say this on Twitter:
There will be teasers and other little things in January leading up to the release.

So we’ll be getting snippets very soon? Yey!
