Florida Georgia Line - "Dirt" [Music Video]
Well, that was fast. Only a few hours after
releasing their new single on iTunes, Florida Georgia Line premiere the music
video for "Dirt" on VEVO. Watch it below!
The sentimental country mid-tempo was
co-written by Rodney Clawson & Chris Tompkins and it serves as the lead
single from FGL’s upcoming second album.
So it turns out the song isn’t inspired by a girl who moved to the city and reminisces her days in the country side, because watching the music video the story I imagined totally changes. "Dirt" seems to be inspired by the death of a woman with her still-living husband getting nostalgic of the days when he and his late wife would get dirt everywhere while working in the corn fields. Such a tragedy! At least the old man now has the support of his entire family to preserve the memory of the 'grandma'. Don't understand what I'm saying? Well, that's why you should watch the video below! Aside the tender story, we get to watch FGL's Tyler Hubbard and Brian Kelley belting "Dirty" from the barn.
