Florence Welch Graces W Magazine Cover With A Pig, New Album Before Summer?
Florence Welch of Florence + the Machine is on the cover of the brand new issue of W magazine. She’s on it wearing a sheer beige gown and petting a cute pig as she sits on a velvet armchair.
This flawless photoshoot where Florence Welch serves noble housewife realness was directed by Greta Gerwig, the filmmaker behind one of my favorite movies of 2017, “Lady Bird” (you go watch this if you haven’t yet!).
Favorite pic? The one where Florence wears that green outfit. She’s giving me “bossy rich bitch” vibes and I’m just living for it!!!
How come Florence Welch is on the cover of a magazine if she hasn’t put a new music in a very long while you ask? Easy. Because she’s about to! Her record label CEO confirmed Florence and the Machine will be dropping a new album in 2018. The long-awaited follow-up to 2015’s “How Big, How Blue, How Beautiful” that would be. And rumor has it that new album may be here before the summer. Why? Because Florence and the Machine is lining up shows at numerous European festivals this summer and for Florence to finally be doing proper shows after a long time, it must be because she plans to perform new music in them.
