First "2 On" TV Performance! Tinashe Takes Over "The Wendy Williams Show"
Haters can complain all about Tinashe’s supposed ‘lack of vocals’ but the 21-year-old Kentucky girl just took a long laugh at them after scoring her first #1! It’s been recently announced that “2 On” has topped Rhythmic radio! Congratulations! And today, July 21, Tinashe performed the first single from her upcoming debut LP "Aquarius" for the first time on television on "The Wendy Williams Show" too! So many exciting things!
Her very first official single and her first #1! This is huge news for Tinashe. She is going to be what Cassie was supposed to be many years ago but failed. The sensual R&B song "2 On" is produced by the man, DJ Mustard.
Performance on ”Wendy Williams” review
It was Tinashe’s first time doing “2 On” on television and she looked a bit nervous, you could definitely tell! However, she pulled off a solid performance. 'Cute' is the best word to describe this perfomance. Tinashe's live vocals (verses were 100% live while she sang over the backing track in the chorus) sounded pretty good to me, and the little choreography she did looked cute. Nonetheless, I was not feeling that jersey dress.
Overall, very solid first TV performance but hopefully Tinashe will bring for her next TV performance the slayage she did at her 2014 BET Awards red carpet performance.
