Fifth Harmony Drop New Song "Can You See" Off "The Star" Soundtrack
Fifth Harmony recorded this new song called “Can You See” for the soundtrack of upcoming animated kids movie “The Star”, which will open in theaters on November 17. The soundtrack will arrive in stores on October 27 but Epic Records (the label in charge of distributing this album throughout America) thought it would be a great to premiere a few songs in advance to get the anticipation for this new soundtrack going. Fifth Harmony’s “Can You See” was one of the songs from this plan, and here it is.
“Who knew a star was so close it could touch us? / Light up our hearts, lead the way through the dark” are some of the inspiring lyrics of this cute mid-tempo pop song. Are there any highlights? Of course! Lauren’s big notes and Ally’s fantastic adlibs. These two ladies gave that extra slay to the song, which yes, is very Christianity-oriented as “The Star” is a movie based on the Nativity of Jesus.
