Fall Out Boy Embrace Dubstep For New Single "Young And Menace": World Premiere!
Fall Out Boy did everything today.
They announced their new album, released their lead single*, and revealed the dates of their forthcoming fall tour.
The new album is titled “MANIA”, it will be released in stores on September 15th (saaaaay what!? why so late!?) and “Young and Menace” is the lead single off of it. Fall Out Boy released the song earlier today on digital stores and at the same time its music video was uploaded on VEVO (featuring a little kid who seems a little lost in the world).
“Young and Menace” hears Fall Out Boy leaving behind their signature all-rock and roll sound to embrace the electronic and dub step sounds. Does it sound good? Well, the production of “Young and Menace” is definitely cool. And together with Patrick Stump’s strong vocals, the combination is nice. But as a whole? “Young and Menace” is a little bit “mmm, okay”. I personally don’t think we’ll be hearing a lot of it on radio, but definitely it must be a song that will be amazing to witness performed in a concert.
