Exclusive Preview: Taylor Swift - "Out of the Woods" (30 Second Snippet)
Taylor Swift gave “Good Morning America" the green light to play a few seconds of her new song "Out of the Woods" on Monday, October 13th. The pop mid-tempo which she co-wrote with Fun.’s Jack Antonoff is a song that will be featured on Tay-Tay’s forthcoming fifth album “1989” (in stores October 27th).
"Out of the Woods", said to be inspired by Taylor’s failed relationship with One Direction's Harry Styles, will be released on iTunes at Monday midnight. According to iTunes, the full length of "Out of the Woods" is 3 minutes and 55 seconds.
At exactly 8:15 AM (ET), "GMA" played a 30-second snippet of the new Taylor song after a commercial break and before going back to its news panel.
Robin Roberts said that what we were hearing was "Out of the Woods" by Taylor Swift, and that an exclusive interview with her talking about this song would be posted on the "Good Morning America" website (update: added below!). She also reminded that the new "1989" song would be up on iTunes at midnight.
Seems like the chorus will be very repetitive! But me likes what I'm hearing. "Are we out of the woods?, yeah are we out of the woods?, are we out of the woods?", sings Taylor.
