Ellie Goulding & Cher Perform on 'X Factor UK'
Ellie Goulding and Cher were the guest performers on the first results show of Series 10 of "The X Factor UK" on ITV 1 (Oct. 13). Watch them perform their newest singles below!
Ellie kicked things off with the debut televised performance of her UK #1 hit (first number one in her home country) "Burn". I'm not joking. Ellie hadn't performed "Burn" on TV till today! Crazy, huh?. Still, no television promotion was needed. "Burn" still slayed, reaching, without problems, the top spot in the country. As for the actual performance, well, for some reason "Burn" - although amazing in the studio version - doesn't translate that well in the live performances. It's a tough song to sing, too. Also, what in God's name was Ellie wearing?. She looked uncomfortable.
The second guest performer on Sunday night was the legendary Cher. The 67-year-old diva performed the new single from her 25th studio album "Closer to the Truth", a cover of the Miley Cyrus song "I Hope You Find It". For a 67-year-old singer, Cher offered a great 100% live performance. Vocals, look, and presence were right on point. Isn't it amazing she looks exactly like 20 years ago?. Who is her plastic surgeon and what is his number?.
