Daughtry Release New Single "Torches": Stream Now!
Rock band Daughtry, led by Chris Daughtry, one of the finalists on the fifth season of ‘American Idol’, will be releasing this February 12th, 2016 their first greatest hits album “It’s Not Over… The Hits So Far” via RCA Records.
The 13-track compilation will feature all of the many hit songs Daughtry have had throughout their four studio albums (all Top 10) but will also include two original songs to give fans an extra reason to buy “It’s Not Over… The Hits So Far”. One of the two new songs is “Torches” and this has been picked as the lead single from the greatest hits album. If you pre-order the set starting tomorrow, January 29th, on iTunes, you will get “Torches” as a free download. But for now, please stream Daughtry’s new single via Spotify below.
“Torches" was written by Chris Daughtry and Dave Bassett (Elle King’s “Exes & Oh’s”, Rachel Platten’s “Fight Song” and Shinedown’s “Second Chance") as well as produced by Bassett.
Not sure how long this will be up or who posted it but catch it while you can! #Torches #CarryItOn #Olympics https://t.co/EKp8spIzxr

Not really sure why but when Chris Daughtry mentioned “Torches” earlier today (Jan. 28) on Twitter, he used the hash tag “Olympics” in his tweet. Is he hoping that Team USA uses his band’s song as some sort of theme at the upcoming Olympics in Rio or is it an agreement they’ve already settled? I want to know!
