Conchita Wurst Premieres Abstract "Heroes" Music Video
I don’t like it when artists shoot music videos that are too abstract. We, the viewers, have to understand them easy. Otherwise, the confusion will makes us not wanting to watch them anymore. That’s the case of Conchita Wurst’s video for “Heroes”, the new single by the famous bearded Austrian chanteuse who won the 2014 Eurovision Song Contest.
“Heroes” is a powerful ballad that tries to be a catalyst to those who are looking to make a positive change in their lives and help others.
“Heroes” video review
It’s very black and white and very abstract. I guess it has to do something about love and peace? That’s kind of the idea I get. But the scenes (Conchita with a child in arms, men falling from the skies, and men with mask) are nonetheless very confusing and puzzling. She better give us a proper explanation via Twitter or somewhere about what she wanted to convey in the “Heroes” music video. She did look pretty in it, though.
PS: I do like her ballads but hopefully she'll give us a club banger soon!
