Cheryl Cole Reveals Name of New Single!
The return of Cheryl Cole is almost upon us. The
singer who survived to malaria four years ago will be returning to British
television this autumn after singing a new £1.5 million contract with 'The X Factor’ (she’ll be reunited with Simon Cowell), but fans of the beautiful
Geordie won't have to wait that long to hear new music from her. In fact, we’ll
have new Cheryl Cole music next week!! Read below!
The lead single from her forthcoming fourth
studio album is officially titled ‘Crazy Stupid Love’, as Cheryl recently confirmed
in an interview to Hello! Magazine UK. Chery has been in a two-year
hiatus from music, since her last studio album 'A Million Lights' was released
in 2012. That last album also became her weakest selling, as it's the only one
of her three solo albums released to date that didn't reach the 'platinum' certification.
‘3 Words’ (2009) has sold over 1 million copies in the UK, getting three times
platinum certified, 'Messy Little Raindrops' has shifted over 300,000 units to
date getting just one platinum certification, while album 'A Million Lights'
only reached Gold selling just over 100,000 units.
Cheryl Cole better come back strong this year.
If this sales trend continues, how much will her fourth sale in total? 50,000
copies? Not good! One thing if for certain when it comes to Cheryl Cole,
though. Her first singles always slay. Although we’re not feeling the title of
her new single ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ (why two adjectives?), we are convinced it
will be a potent song, and hopefully dance-y enough for the summer.
Chery will debut ‘Crazy Stupid Love’ with a performance on the finale of Britain’s Got Talent on June 7. The single will be released on iTunes immediately after.
