Cheryl Cole - 'Call My Name' (Music Video!)
Cheryl Cole proves she's one of the hottest women ever in her new music video for "Call My Name", the Calvin Harris-produced dance-pop song that serves as the lead single off Cheryl's upcoming 3rd album "A Million Lights", to be released in stores in the UK next June 18th. "Call My Name" is classic Calvin Harris material structure and sound-wise...Why? Cheryl's new single is quite short and repetitive, it features 'soft' vocals, and the dance beat plays it subtle in the verses, and explodes in the hooks. "Call My Name" isn't as 'instant' as Cheryl's previous 'first singles' though, but a part of me knows the UK will make the song #1 no matter what. Plus it's very remixable and the beat will sound great at clubs.
As for the recently-premiered Anthony Mandler-directed video for "Call My Name" (watch above), let's just say it's a choreography-packed effort. Cheryl dances her behind off, while looking classy, sexy and stunningly beautiful all at the same time. Cheryl, accompanied by a few hunky male dancers, gets into the Calvin Harris electro beat executing a choreo in a tunnel at the L.A river, while other MV scenes see Cheryl cruising down the Los Angeles streets at night on her fancy BMW. Enjoy!
