Celine Dion Covers Sia's "Cheap Thrills" In Las Vegas: Do You Approve?
Last night's Celine Dion concert at The Colosseum inside the Caesars Palace in Las Vegas should have been "another one to the list" if it hadn't been for this moment right here that made this concert one to remember.
The 48-year-old Canadian diva was congratulating a couple that had just gotten engaged at her Saturday show and was even cracking a few jokes about marriage when suddenly and out of nowhere she began to sing Sia's massive pop hit "Cheap Thrills" - taken from the Australian's "This is Acting" album.
It was only a minute of an impromptu cover but it was more than enough to make my day.
Celine made "Cheap Thrills" her own (filled it with plenty of her signature vocals), she had fun with it, and most importantly, she made the crowd in the venue have a great time.
If Sia was considering to give "Cheap Thrills" its millionth remix, Celine should definitely be taken into consideration to be a featured guest. I'm convinced both ladies would slay a song together.
