Check out Cassadee Pope's music video for her debut single "Wasting All These Tears", which exclusively premiered in the early morning of Wednesday, July 17th on CMT.com. "Wasting All These Tears" is a country-rock track, co-written by Caitlyn Smith and Rollie Gaalswyk and produced by Dann Huff. Cassadee Pope's first studio album is expected to be released in the fall via Republic Nashville.
"Wasting All These Tears" sounds like a smash, the Dann Huff production is flawless, Holy Cassadee Pope's vocal execution of it slay, and the music video - although feeling a little 'cheap' - is quite faithful to the song's vibe, story-wise. The visuals show Cassadee finding out her boyfriend is cheating on her, and belting out the "Wasting All These Tears" lyrics in her bedroom - probably feeling sad and mad at the same time - as she swings on a swing. Scenes also feature Cassadee and her band rocking out to the tune.
