Cassadee Pope Releases Studio Version of New Single "You Hear A Song": Listen
Cassadee Pope released her new single "You Hear A Song" on iTunes on August 13. Listen to the high-quality studio edit above. "You Hear A Song" becomes the follow-up to "Wasting All These Tears", and second official single from the winner of the third season of The Voice USA's upcoming debut album entitled "Frame by Frame", which will arrive in stores in the States next October 8th via Republic Nashville.
"You Hear A Song" was produced by country music hitmaker Nathan Chapman. The song is just the perfect blend between country, and pop/rock. Also, "You Hear A Song" sounds like something that if Taylor Swift released, it would become a chart-topping smash. I'm still loving more "Wasting All These Tears" as 'single material' though. That song is amazing, and immediately got me saying 'radio, and Hot 100 smash' on the first listen, but eventually, Cassadee's debut single didn't WOW that much on the charts, only peaking at #7 on the US Country Chart, and #37 on the Billboard Hot 100. I'm sad! Still, I think Cassadee is meant to be the next big think in the country/rock genre. I mean, she's real good. She just needs to find THE perfect song, though.
