Cardi B FINALLY premiered the official music video for her urban twerk anthem "Money". The EXPENSIVE visual made it's way onto YouTube on Friday (Dec. 21). The video is painfully late, though. "Money" was released in October! And without no music video to back it up, the song still managed to peak at #13 on rhe Billboard Hot 100 chart. So imagine what it could have done if it had had that music video out. #1 for sure! But oh well, let's not get entirely furious and upset just yet. "Money" is back on the Top 5 on iTunes thanks to yesterday's music video premiere so there's still hope for the song. Cardi B just needs to get off of her couch and start doing TV performances. With all of that, I can totally "Money" recuperating positions on the Hot 100 and even finally cracking the Top 10.
Why do I sound so HYPED? Because the "Money" music video is EPIC. Cardi B's best video yet, hands down. It looks expensive, it's fun, it's everything I didn't know I needed for Cardi B, it's sexy, there's so much iconic imagery and the feminist message attached to it is legendary. Cardi B is "Team Free The Nipples" and "Team Breastfeeding Wherever My Baby Needs Me To Do It". Power to you, mama!
Favorite scene? Imposibble to choose. The whole video is my favorite scene. I'm shook, I'm slayed and I'm wigless. And sorry for this following shade but I just need to say it: this is the LEVEL Nicki Minaj music videos should be at this point in her career.
