Bruno Mars & Louisa Johnson Perform New Singles On “X Factor UK”: Watch
British singer Louisa Johnson and American, Hawaii-born singer Bruno Mars were the guest stars on the latest “results show” of Series 13 of “The X Factor UK” last night (Oct. 30) on the ITV 1 network.
Louisa Johnson, besides being a girl with an incredible voice, is also the winner of the last season of “The X Factor”. Yesterday, she delivered the very first televised performance of her new single titled “So Good”, which will appear on her much-anticipated forthcoming debut album, due in stores soon via Syco.
Louisa’s last night’s performance of “So Good” was all kinds of hot and literally so good. Not only did Ms. Johnson put her God-gifted potent vocals on display, she also opted to feel and look a little sexy onstage by wearing a short silver dress that made room to show off her amazing legs. Wow girl, you’ve been killing it at the gym lately, right? Anyhow, although I really enjoyed Louisa’s performance, mainly because of the killer vocals, I’m still on the fence whether “So Good” is the best “first single” option for Louisa’s debut album. For I think the song isn’t too radio-friendly and is way too “dramatic” for an 18-year-old singer. I don’t know why Syco chose this particular sound for Louisa. But anyway, “So Good” will most likely become a number one hit in the UK no matter what thanks to the combined machinery of “The X Factor” brand and Syco’s promotional efforts. We will see the official debut chart position for “So Good” when the UK Singles chart updates this weekend. “So Good” was released on iTunes last Friday (Oct. 28).
With respect to Bruno Mars, there’s not really much to comment. It was another great performance of “24K Magic” what he offered last night on “The X Factor UK” and very in the line of what he did on “SNL” a couple of weeks ago. The Hawaiian singer appeared on stage with three buddies of his who helped him with the hyping, the ad-libs and the choreography.
Oh, and by the way, it may be seriously cold in London right now, but that didn’t stop Bruno from wearing her already-iconic shorts for this performance. These shorts seem will be the clothing theme for this era.
