Breaking: Iggy Azalea & Azealia Banks To Collaborate On “Digital Distortion”, Beef Officially Over!
Only a few months ago they were the worst of enemies, now they are the best of friends. See how easily you can go from hate to love?
The Iggy Azalea and Azealia Banks beef is over. Remember how the “Fancy” star addressed the Azealia situation on Snapchat last week where Iggy admitted she felt the time had come to make peace with her enemies, that she would try to truly understand why their relationship went sour, and if she was at fault of something, Iggy said she would have an open mind to admit her wrongdoings? And remember how the “212” Harlem raptress responded to Iggy’s Snapchat comments only a couple of days later saying she thought a reconciliation could take place now? Well, see the Snapchat photo Iggy Azalea posted last night:
"Public service announcement. Azealia is going to be on DD. We are collaborating. Burn your wigs now or preserve them in your freezer for release day"

There you go. What better reconciliation than a collaboration, right? Iggy and Azealia have conversed over the phone, have patched things up, and now they’re cool again. Hurray! And to solidify this renovated amicable relationship; Azealia Banks has agreed to collaborate on Iggy Azalea’s “Digital Distortion” album (to be released "in one or two months"). The girls will record a song together and will add it to the finalized tracklisting of “DD” – which after the flop of “Switch” was going to revised anyway. There’s no doubt Def Jam had already sent Iggy back to the recording studio to record new material that this time would be of the liking of the general public. But, will this Azealia Banks collaboration save “Digital Distortion”? Well, I’m not even sure if Def Jam would make this collaboration a single. Azealia Banks is a great raptress and artist but she’s not commercial, and her sound and style is honestly not of the appeal of Top 40 radio. So… this collaboration may be a cute gesture towards the “change hate for love” campaign, and may be a “fire” song for fans of rap music, but the single that will save “Digital Distortion” on the charts I doubt this will be. What do you think?
