Beyoncé - "XO" (Music Video)
Beyoncé has now unleashed the full music video for her song "XO" on VEVO. Watch it above! After uploading the video for "Drunk In Love", the R&B singer follows up with the visual for the Ryan Tedder-penned ballad today (December 16h) too.
It was understood Beyoncé posted the “Drunk In Love” music video on VEVO because the song would serve as the lead single from her self-titled fifth album for Rhythmic radio. Many were then expecting her to release the video for “Blow” today as well as it was first reported the Pharrell-produced song would be sent as the first single for Top 40/Pop radio, but it seems there was a mistake. New reports and radio sources indicate it will be the rousing ballad “XO” the one serving as first Pop single from “Beyoncé”.
I am happy with the change if it gets confirmed. “XO” is a massive hit waiting to happen. Ryan Tedder did beautiful song-writing job, while The Dream and Hit-Boy somehow made their loud/strident produced beat work with Beyoncé's breezy vocals.
As for the “XO” music video, it was filmed back in August at New York's famous Coney Island fairground. Bee will freak out riding the rollercoaster, and dance to the upbeat tune with her friends, and watch street performers on the boardwalk.
