Avril Lavigne - 'Hello Kitty' [Music Video]
Avril Lavigne proves Japan is a fun country in the music video for 'Hello Kitty', the brand new Japanese single from the pop/rock singer's self-titled fifth album. The tribute song to the highly-profitable ©Sanrio character/brand was co-written by Av and her husband Chad Kroeger. Who could've thought the Nickelback man would write a song about Hello Kitty?
"Avril Lavigne" didn't turn up to be the successful album all Avril fans hoped to be but at least it spawned one Top 20 US hit ("Here's To Never Growing Up") and it made Avril play sold-out tours in Asia, and Latin America.
'Hello Kitty' is the next single for Japan (Avril is massive there) and in it the Canadian singer shows her love for the distant country as she shot it in Tokyo! Avril attempts to do a choreography with four Japanese doll-looking dancers supporting, has fun at a candy store, eats yummy sushi, and takes photographs like a touring while walking the streets!
