All Time Low's "Something's Gotta Give" Is Our New Anthem For The Bad Times Plus It's Zombie-Themed Video Is A Creepy Must-Watch!
3 years without All Time Low surely have been a lot for the fans of the pop punk band. Their last album “Don’t Panic” was released in the Fall of 2012 and it won't be until April 7th, 2015 when their follow-up and overall sixth career album hits US stores. Why the long wait? You can blame it on extensive touring and taking the right time to come up with fresh ideas for a better album.
Last week on the day of the iTunes pre-order launch of “Future Hearts” (that’s the title of the upcoming All Time Low LP) the lead single was simultaneously premiered. The ‘instant’ “Something’s Gotta Give” is a pop punk anthem for those going through stressful, upsetting or dark times. “Pull me out of this sinking town / I’m dying to live / Something's gotta give”, sings band frontman Alex Gaskarth in the chorus. There’s always going to be a light at the end of the tunnel or as ATL say: "something's gotta give!".
Coming up with the right music video for a life-helping song like “Something’s Gotta Give” should have been piece of cake but rather than making a predictable or "another in the bunch" video, All Time Low really scratched their heads for this one. Not only the final product is original and unique, it's so scary too! It almost feels like the release date of “Something’s Gotta Give” should have been Halloween's Day and not mid-January. Do not miss All Time Low’s zombie-themed clip…watch it below!
Not sure if it entirely makes sense with the song lyrics (wow, I didn't not foresee this almost-gory visuals coming), but a video that makes me want to watch it from start to finish certainly gets my approval (I could not take my eyes away from the screen!).
2015 marks ten years since All Time Low got into the music scene and their songs are still super good! If “Something’s Gotta Give” is any indication of the quality of the rest of the album, then I might need to pre-order “Future Hearts” ASAP!
