Alessia Cara premiered the official music video for her song “Growing Pains” today on YouTube.
“Growing Pains” is the first single from the Canadian singer-songwriter’s upcoming sophomore studio album, which today was confirmed to be titled “The Pains of Growing”. The release date of the album is yet a mystery, though. Def Jam hasn’t made up their minds yet apparently…
The “Growing Pains” music video is BY FAR Alessia Cara’s best visual to date. Sucks, though, that it is for a song that is a little bland and anticlimactic.
The “weird” visual sees Alessia going through some physically suffering moments by the hands of some masked females and holding her breath all she can underwater in her boy suit. Whoever came up with this concept, I love his/her beautiful crazy mind!
