Adam Levine Gives Walk The Moon The “Death Stare” During “Shut Up And Dance” Performance on “The Voice” (Video)
Big congratulations are in order for band Walk The Moon. They’ve made of their single “Shut Up and Dance” such a huge hit in the US (Billboard Hot 100 Top 5 material) that no doubt RCA will green light a third album for them. Also, Walk The Moon announced earlier this week a headlining tour that will kick off this coming Fall! Big, huh? They will for sure remember 2015 as the year that changed their lives forever.
Walk the Moon take over THE VOICE
Last night, May 12, Walk the Moon delivered a new televised performance of “Shut Up and Dance”. It was on NBC’s “The Voice” - again, big, huh? They’ve become overnight such important assets for their label that now RCA is paying big money to have them perform on big TV shows.
The performance was SO ENERGETIC I wish I had been in that crowd throwing my glowing stick in the air like it just don’t care.
True Walk the Moon’s frontman Nicholas Petricca’s vocals started a bit shaky in the performance but he pulled his “scheisse” together after the first chorus. Even if he had given the worst vocal performance ever, his energetic delivery would’ve saved the act anyway.
But is Walk the Moon’s “Shut Up and Dance” performance the important stuff from the embedded video below? Nah. You have to go to minute 1:35 in the YouTube clip to watch the lol-worthy DEATH STARE that Adam Levine gave the band’s performance. Is he not a fan of “Shut Up and Dance” then? What was that!?
