The leak happened in the morning of Saturday, January 11th. The super-hyped collaboration between the two Roc Nation-managed divas "Can't Remember To Forget You" is set to officially premiere on Monday, January 13th. It's unclear yet if the single will be released at Sunday midnight (EST) on iTunes or whether there is a radio deal to begin pushing the song across the US starting on Monday morning.
By the leaked snippet of "Can't Remember To Forget You", it appears someone has already snatched a digital copy of the song. Will this rush the single release?
Does the Shak-RiRi duet sound like a monster smash hit from the snippet?. Well, if you were expecting a club smash, EDM, electro-pop, party-ready song..."Can't Remember To Forget You" will definitely disappoint you. It's not a bad song, though. It sounds like typical Shakira pop music. I kind of liked the melody, and Shakira's vocals in the 20-sec snippet, although I can't completely understand everything she's singing, ha.
